Good spot I found for some good seasoned food. The vibe is chill and they have a bar area you can sit at. They also play music you can listen to while he you eat. The waitress was cool and the food came out hot and fast. Well definitely recommend

I had a taste for some fish and wanted something different. So I've been hearing about this place and decided to give it a try . It's located across from Legion Field. Upon arriving it was so crowded I knew we would have to wait . Walked in and was seated . The atmosphere was very casual . The music was playing which made it a vibe . The menu had so many good things to choose from. I decided to go with the Voodoo egg rolls for appetizer. They were hot and very flavorful. I really enjoyed them . For entree , I went with the Magic City Platter and my husband had the Catfish Platter. The food was very hot (temperature wise) and freshly cooked. That was a plus . Our waitress Mecie ( I may spelled her name wrong ) was very attentive and friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed and never had to ask for a refill . She stayed on top of everything. This place was a hit . I have not one bad complaint to say about this place .

First time visiting. Did a pickup order. This made for an aromatic drive home, couldn't wait. Everything was simply delicious. The Boudin Ball Was mouth watering . I like sauces so I had to use the dipping sauces, great either way. The catfish and the shrimp were fantastic I love the batter, both were fried to perfection. The service was great, did not take long to get our order. The dining area reminded me of old home, where you are guaranteed a good meal, not disappointed....

I love this place! It's a vibe that compliments the great food. The menu is top-notch, and I love that the waitresses are honest about their recommendations. The times I've gone, when I inquire about how they prefer the dish, they give me their preferences, and it's always amazing!

Saw this place on a morning tv show and have been interested in coming for a while. We came here and this place plays good music. We ordered fried green tomatoes and all ordered catfish. Mine was blackened with 5 shrimp and it was really great. The red beans and rice was very good as well. The waitress was very attentive and frequented the table. We all loved the visit and plan on returning l. I do suggest the peach lemonade to go with your meal as it's pretty great

Really liked this place! Ambience was chill, kinda hole in the wall place. Service was good, forgot my server's name but she was so nice and recommended a few things since it was my first time. Food was DELICIOUS! I got the blackened fish and dirty rice (kitchen forgot my gravy tho...) plus some asparagus (was a little heavy on the salt for me). Everything was hot and that dirty rice HIT!!! I also had the mardi gras punch (doesn't have alcohol) which was good. My best friend had some fried fish (perfection) and red beans and rice. Let me also say the fried green tomatoes are bomb! So good and their sauce needs to be bottled because I will buy it!! Will be back to enjoy more.

Was greeted promptly and seated very quickly. Our server Vee was great and very sweet! Atmosphere is laid back and cute with a good DJ. I ordered the $15 fish special with fries and seafood rice. It also came with a drink. It was a great deal! The fish was fried hard which I like but very salty. The fries weren't the best but were edible. The seafood rice was very tasty! We got there in time for the happy hour which has a decent amount of options for a great price! My friend got the Katrina which she said was very good and I got the blue mf which they were not light handed with at all which was a good thing lol. Both were $5. Overall I would consider coming back for the vibe and to try something else.
